Week 10--Just For Mom!

Hey mom!! This is the email you don't have to forward to everyone!! I had a good week and I hope you had a good week!! 

Thanks for the email. I love hearing about how things are at home!! That is awesome that Jace is doing good at football!! Tell him to keep killing people. 

I got some of your letters this week!! They were awesome. I love you sooooooooo much!! And I miss you. SO MUCH!! But, I am doing good:)  Love you mom!!

Week 10

Hello!! This week went really good. It was a lot of fun!! One of the nights it started raining super hard and we got SOAKED!!!! When we got home we were so wet!! 

Haha what else happened this week? I ate papusas like every single night!! Haha I am not sure why, but we just decided like every night that that is what we wanted. Haha they are sooooo good!! 

But anyway... this week went good with investigators too! We found a new lady named Kristy and she is awesome!! She is really interested in all of our lessons!! So lets hope that that keeps going well! During the lesson she was just asking really good questions!! So that was pretty cool for Elder Cruz and me!! 

Oh and we found one of the ladies in our ward lived in the US for 24 years... and she speaks NO English!! Like... are you kidding me? Hahaha I just feel like after 24 years you would pick up the language!! Anyway...it is ok because she is awesome and she helps us a lot!! The members are pretty good with helping us here! The hardest part with the people here is that they always forget we have appointments with them!! So they either aren't home or say they don't have time... so that is always sucks!! Especially because some of their houses take over an hour to get to...but, really the walking isn't too bad anymore!! I am getting used to it and my butt is totally getting bigger;)!! 

Hahaha thanks for all of the emails this week!! I love you all and hope you are all doing great!! Just know that I am doing good!! Also know that time goes so fast!! When people say that weeks go by like days it is so true. The mission field is so much better than the MTC!! Well, I will talk to you all soon!! Love you all.

Week 9--Just For Mom!

Mom! I just want to send an email just to you!! So don't forward it...Hi mom!! How are you doing!? I want you to know how much I love you!!! I want you to know I am doing good. I cook, clean, and do everything!! Haha you would be proud of me! :) My zone and district are awesome and I love them!! Doing changes with them is fun. I love you so, so, so much!! Thank you so much for everything!! The letters, emails, everything!!! You are just the best!! The only thing is how much I miss you... I miss everything!! All of our trips to the doctors! Haha it was all so fun, and I think about it all of the time!! I love you mom... and I love hearing from you so thank you!! I will send pictures!!! Love you!!

Week 9

Hello!!! How was everyone's week!? My week was good!! Last Monday, after we emailed, we went and saw a one of the Mayan Ruins! We had to look at it from outside of the fence so I couldn't get any good pictures with it... but I will send the ones I got!

Ok, so some good news...my comp and me had our first baptism this week!! It a pretty cool story! We were teaching the family and they were just saying they weren't ready yet. The dad doesn't know if he has gone long enough without smoking, yet, to be baptized. But, then their 13-year-old son Andres was just like, "I want to be baptized!!" and his family said they would support his decision! So we baptized him this last Saturday. Elder Cruz did the actual baptizing but it was still so awesome!!! I'll send the pictures of that too!! So this week was good!

At the beginning of the week we did inter changes, because of the baptism interviews and stuff, and the comp I had for that day spoke no English and has a problem with his speaking from when he was a kid. So that was a little hard!! But we actually did really well together that day!

Well, what's going on at home!? I hope everyone is doing good! To answer some of your questions...I cook food in the morning to eat! What do I want sent to me? ANYTHING! Always feel free to send food! Peanut butter and stuff like that is always nice!! But yeah, you can always send me food!

My comp and me are good! There is obviously stuff he does that bothers me!! But, we get along good! We are doing pretty good teaching in lessons and stuff! Well, the mission is awesome! The people are great! I really like my zone and district! So meetings are always fun!! As my Spanish is getting better so is the mission! I love you all and will talk to you soon! :)

Week 8

Hello!! How is everyone doing!?  I am doing good. This week went well. I am getting use to all the walking, so that is probably why!! 

Ok so you asked me to answer a couple of questions, so I will start by answering them!  I sleep in a bed! haha (luckily) The food isn't bad!! I read Gunners emails and see what he eats, so I will NOT complain about the food!! We have a lady who cooks for us, but only lunch, and its not bad! This week she gave us a whole fish! Head, tail, bones, everything!! Hahaha, but it wasn't too bad, just weird!! 

I don't get bit too much (by bugs) because I am literally covered in bug spray 24/7!! Even when I sleep!! Oh and this is kind of crazy, most of this week I showered out of a bucket!! Haha it was a little weird... but not too bad!!! 

Anyway, what happened this week? I went to a baptism!! I didn't do the baptizing, but I stood in on the giving of the Holy Ghost! That was awesome!! It was two teenage boys, both were 15 and their names were Jose and Alex!! They are awesome!!! 

We went to our ward for the first time this Sunday because last week we were in the chapel in the city watching conference. But, our church building is literally just a metal shed!! We have about 50 members that live in our area!! The members are all awesome!! So it was fun to be with all of them!! They all say my Spanish isn't bad for the amount of time I have been out!! Some people are just a little hard to understand, mainly the old guys with no teeth!!! Hahaha but it actually gets better almost everyday!! ...and for me I am just working on figuring out the accent while I speak Spanish so they understand me better! 

Lets see, I took some pictures this week so i will send them. Oh ok, so we have some investigators with baptism dates!! So lets hope they continue to feel good about it because that would be awesome!! I pray for all of them every day!! Then I will have my first baptisms. Thats exciting!! Well this week was good! It was pretty hot, but it was good!! It went by a lot faster than last week! Well I love you all so much and I will talk to you soon!!! Love you!!!!!!
